What a wonderful evening out with our ASIR Students & Staff tonight. We went to see the FANTASTIC Movie Black Panther. What about outstanding movie. You must go see it. What an amazing & and beautiful cast!!!

At ASIR we care, we love, and we NEVER FORGET! When I heard that Mr. B, our driver was ill I shared the news with my students, asking them, if they would to wish him a get well soon in there hearts or to say a prayer for him. Our students LOVE Mr. B because not only did he transport them from time to time, he often took time to share his wisdom with them. He always told them that they can change and that they are smart and that one day they would become somebody great! Th...ese children NEVER forgot his gentle and soft spoken words to them, so when they received the news that he was in the hospital they, without my knowing made beautiful cards for him. Today, I believe these children made his day by showing up at his bedside. They were happy and he was overjoyed. They made his day. At ASIR we teach our students to NEVER forget those who had a hand in the changes they made. I truly LOVE these children's compassionate spirits. They are so great! What a wonderful day this was visiting the African American Museum, in Washington, DC with my older students. What an AMAZING trip this was. Most of all the amazing part of the trip was seeing how our students took a great and sincere interest in their history. One student, Tyria, said "This makes me want to cry!" I responded with, awwww, "that's because you are feeling the urge to want to know more about your people, our ancestors!" She said, "YEP." I was surprised and impressed. Thank you Jesus for another opportunity to empower our children!!! Enjoy the photos.

Giving God all the glory, honor and praise for such a humbling experience on last evening and over the past month or so for the marvelous things He continues to do for ASIR and in my life. Today, I want to give a special shout out to the Phoenix Lodge #3 (Masonic Brothers) for adopting the ASIR Program. Thank you to this entire group of men for their continued support. Cornbread it's all because of your love for the children, and strong belief in the services we provide t...hese children and families that the lodge is now apart of the ASIR Program. Last night at the White Cabaret sponsored by the Phoenix Lodge #3 I was surprisingly recognized and presented with another huge donation. A BIG THANK YOU to these wonderful men who are always making a difference in the lives of many! May God bless you all, and we APPRECIATE you!!! Also, I would like to say THANK YOU to my friends: The "HAPPY PEOPLE" Club for joining me at this event. I love you all, and I am so blessed that we are friends. Thank you for your support.
