BALD EAGLE KNAPIN NEWS!! The Bald Eagle Knapin will be held this year at the location of the Camp Anderson Boy Scout Camp. 1057 Vanscyoc Hollow Rd Tyrone Pa.16686 Due to the requirement of a Mitigation plan for Covid by the DCNR at the State Park it will not be held there this year. In an effort to continue the knapin, it will be moved. Dates are still June 24-27, 2021. Camping will be open Thursday morning and Cleanup and shutdown will be Saturday or Sunday as your ow...n schedule permits. This is an important knapin to attend if you are interested in the future of this knapin. Our President as well as myself will be resigning from our positions on the board of directors, effective at the board meeting There will be opportunity to nominate and vote for new leadership. This will greatly influence the direction our knapin takes. There are a lot of issues to consider with the location of the future. Issues such as labor for setup, supplies for setup, enforcement of public and participant issues, scheduling of programs etc. The State Park is an ideal location for reaching the public and a huge thanks of appreciation to them for their help and cooperation the last few years. Please come prepared to have a good time and voice what you would like to see happen with our knapin. See more
