With Thanksgiving right around the corner in the U.S., CEO Leroy Ball shares how Koppers plans to get employees back to work safely after the holiday.

Employees at our Stickney, Illinois, facility recently pitched in to plant hardwood trees as a way to enhance green space for the community. In August 2019, the Stickney team began a phytoremediation (improving soil quality with certain types of plants) project at a neighboring terminal that was used for barge and rail shipping, as well as storage of raw materials and intermediate products. See photos for the impressive growth in just a little over one year.
