Have y’all seen this? Each kid has their own snowman to unwrap and the bottom gift is a toy, the middle gift is clothing, the top is their favorite snacks, and the card is either cash or a gift card! Super cute idea and keeps you from going overboard!

The relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020. Mental health issues related to our lock down and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression. NAMI, The National Alliance on Mental Health has a 24-hour helpline: 800-950-6264. Now, I’m asking my small corner of FB to follow suit: Could any two of my Facebook friends just copy and repost to share the helpline far and wide? Just two. Any two. Say done.

This is possibly the funniest thing I have seen so far during this pandemic. Please take 1:48 seconds out of your day to watch! Beyond hilarious! Sorry in advance to all you husbands out there!

I grew up in Sandy Hook, CT during a time when everyone treated each other like Family. We went outside to play, we got dirty and we didn't eat fast food....we ate sandwiches, candy, pickles and snow cones. We played Simon Says, Mother May I, Red Light, Green Light, Hide and Go Seek, Jacks, Marbles, Tag, Touch football, Hopscotch, Double dutch, Checkers, Dominoes and raced against each other in the street. There was no bottled water, we drank from the water hose. We watched c...artoons on Saturday mornings, walked to the corner store and rode our bikes for hours without a cellphone. We weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING not even The Police. If someone had a fight, that's what it was...a fist fight. Kids didn't have guns when I grew up. The street lights were your curfew. School was mandatory. We watched our mouths around our elders because we knew If you DISRESPECTED any grown up you're gonna get HIT with whatever's close... Re-post if you're proud that you came from a close knit community and will never forget where you came from! Copy & Paste See more

Dear Teacher Friends, We were terrified. We were not ready. We didn’t know what was to come.... We did not want to change our ways. We couldn’t imagine what each day would look like. We were stressed, exhausted, overwhelmed, and anxious. But fast forward 5 months. We are ok. We have adapted. We are stronger together. We are essential. We feel our worth. We make a difference and others know it. We are proud to go to work. I know many of you return to work in the next few weeks and it is scary but I promise it will be okay. Be flexible, be strong, be creative, and be proud! You are so needed and remember that now more than ever these kids need your love and support. We’ve got this and this too shall pass! Just thought you could use a little encouragement from some people who have felt what you feel. Love, Your Friends in Healthcare! #inthistogether (Copy and paste to your status to show some love for our brave teachers!)

Got this from my friends page. Best thing I read today!! So well said!! I don’t know who wrote this but SOMEONE FINALLY put into words what I’ve been thinking and I couldn't agree more!... I’m sick of covid-19. I’m sick of black vs. white. I’m sick of Democrats vs. Republicans. I’m sick of gay vs. straight. I’m REALLY sick of the media. I’m sick of the language being used and plastered all over the media... I’m sick of no one being allowed to think what they want & feel what they do without offending someone. I am sick of the people who are out there jumping on the bandwagon to protest just to cause mass confusion and more hatred and to riot, loot, and destroy... I am sick of blaming the world for the sins of a few. I’m sick of people who think that 160yr old history is our fault... it’s history... get over it!! We’re one racethe human race. We All Matter!! You want to support President Trump? You do it! It’s your choice. You want to support Biden? Fine... also your choice! You want to believe in God? Awesome! believe in God. You want to believe in magical creatures that fly around & sprinkle fairy dust to make life better? ... you do it!! BUT how about being mature enough to be able to deal with the fact that everyone doesn’t have the same exact mind-set as you. Having our own minds is what makes us all individuals and beautiful. If you can’t handle that fact....I’m sorry!! I don’t have to agree with everything you believe in. So be a decent human being. Love one another, be kind, be humble, be thankful, help a stranger and do a good deed, daily! Copy and paste if you agree.

So I am again doing what everyone else is doing. It's ridiculous to have so many friends and only 25 are allowed to see posts. I tried this early and am doing it again because It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years. Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed. Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. So hold your finger down anywhere... in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go to your page, start a new post, and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click "paste". This will bypass the system. If you are reading this message, do me a favor and leave me a quick comment...a "hello," a sticker, whatever you want, so you will appear in my newsfeedIt WORKS!! See more

Ok...it's my time to rant over the PA guidelines & how it has impacted me. My opinion & comments only. Please comment...you won't offend me at all! My business of 27+ years is closed since mid March...I have always in all those years sanitized, followed all the laws/rules of business. Paid my taxes...showed everyone respect...& you can attest when I pissed you off at my opinion about any subject....you knew I meant every word...and came at you directly..not behind your back.... I enjoyed all challenges about my "job". Profit..losses...because I chose to be my own boss. Having said all that...I haven't reopened my business yet..because I can't trust that the people I "touch" will not be affected. Truly there is pain & discomfort in my clients lives & bodies. They need me & I knead them. But when the City of Bethlehem, says they wont issue fines to businesses not following the guidelines...but the Parking Authority issues parking tickets for not moving your car on a street cleaning day...I pause on what is really important. So...reevaluate what is important today... Wear your mask and still stay physically distant from me. Thanks for reading. See more

I have always been a cash business. No debit or credit cards to keep my costs down. Also, ever notice that the register people, do not know how to count out change...unless the register tells them how much to return. But even then...they have difficulty counting the change & paper currency. Such a shame. BTW...they don't know how to read an analog clock either...only a digital one. Just saying...
