Facility update! We are currently in the initial stages of painting and re-lighting the facility as we await the new turf and custom netting. I don’t know how I made it this long without a paint sprayer, but dang, they are awesome! For our paint colors, we were able to research and find official colors from Fenway Park, which we thought was as authentic as you can get for a hitters eye! (Yankees fans, don’t hold it against us please! ) A big shout out to Aumens Paint Stor...e in Hershey for getting us this awesome paint!! Derek Hench and his team are fantastic in getting you the right paint you need! At this time, we will be taking scheduling for any teams/small groups/clients starting January 1 in hopes our facility will be prepared. Please contact us if your team needs training space for 2022 as slots are beginning to fill! Also, stay tuned for an introduction of the instructors/clinicians that will be running training clinics and classes beginning in January. We will make the announcement very soon!! Let’s get ready to crush this off-season!!

As you all know, 2021 was filled with adversity, struggles, and uncertainty in many ways for me. Through some of those dark days, I tried to remind myself to figure out what I’m supposed to learn, to believe in myself through adversity, and to remember there will be brighter days ahead. Those dark days led me to today. And today, I am excited to announce we can celebrate not only my birthday and the beginning of my 9th year of my baseball business on 11/13; but also the openi...ng of my second business, Everything Athletics! I am so proud to formally share this news with all of you! This indoor training facility will be opening next month. We will continue to offer baseball and softball training, as well as college showcase and exposure development. Also, any sport or event needing indoor field time can utilize our facility too! Last night I was kindly invited to celebrate my client, Mikaela KK Francois, and her National Letter of Intent signing to continue playing softball at Delaware State University. It was an incredible honor for me to be a part of the evening and to see the love and support that her family, friends, and teammates all have for her. I’m so proud of KK for all her hard work and the dedication to achieve her goals of playing Division 1 Softball. She is an amazing example of always believing in yourself to achieve greatness! Congratulations KK, I wish you nothing but the best and continued success! If God brings you to it, he will see you through it. A quote that has resounded in my head constantly through the course of my life; especially over the last two years with the pandemic’s effects on my life and business. Thursday afternoon I showed up to work and was greeted by my tattered batting cage; completely destroyed by the storms and wind from Wednesday evening. I just personally bought and built this cage in June so I could resume working after Sports City closed i...ts doors and I couldn’t work. As I sat next to my cage looking at its tangled mess with tears in my eyes, I realized clearly this is just another setback I need to overcome. Just like the last two years with all that’s taken place, I have before and will overcome this again. I will make it through. We will make it through. We will use this as motivation to succeed even more. I will not let this defeat us! To my clients, I am once again so sorry from the bottom of my heart I have to delay my ability to be there for you. I will provide details on what’s next as soon as I can! We will be back up and running and crushing the ball soon, I PROMISE!! What an AWESOME week of camp!! We were able to make it through the rain and it turned out to be one of the best weeks of camp I have been to! On our behalf, we’d like to spend special thanks to Linglestown Baseball for allowing us to use their facilities this week, to Dave Brixius and his crew for doing a fantastic job with the conditioning this week, to our college coaches from Fairmont State and Essex College who took time to come share their college baseball and recruiting insight with the kids, to Billy Felo and Sam Nott who came and shared some fantastic insight on mental training, and a big and most important thank you to all the campers this week for working so hard and getting better!! Hope everyone had as much fun as we did hosting this camp and look forward to seeing you again at our next event!!

A big shout out and congratulations to two of my clients who were recognized on tremendous high school seasons! Judah Miller, as a sophomore this past season, was named Sentinel League Player of the Year for his division! Batting wise, he hit a crazy .456 clip with 41 hits, 12 being for extra bases! Pitching wise, he finished 7-2 with a 1.89 ERA and pitched his team to the state semifinal win en route to the state championship for Halifax! Nick Lubinski was named to the All Sentinal Team by hitting .357 with 21 RBIs for Millersburg. Proud of both of you and so happy to see your hard work paying off!! Baseball camp is back!! We’re excited to announce our first camp on the big field for 13-16 year olds August 17-20! Come prepared to improve on fielding, throwing, hitting, and how to make the transition easier in certain ways to the 60/90 fields as well for the fall season! Two good steps in the right direction today: the outdoor batting cage is almost ready with some finishing touches, and I was able to go to the driving range today and swing a golf club for the first time in 7 months! To all my clients, keep up the FANTASTIC work this year!! I am so sorry for this delay for not being there for you all once again, as this process has been longer than anticipated! As soon as it is ready I promise I will let everyone know! For anyone interested in cage rentals once it is ready, please contact me as I will shortly be able to have it available for all to rent and use once it’s ready to go! Big things coming this summer!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! It brings me much sadness to share Sports City closed its doors for training last week and will no longer be open to the public. From Saturday morning soccer games when I was a child, to my home facility for training the last 2.5 years, Sports City will always provide wonderful memories and it’s sad to see the doors closing permanently. Fortunately, I have found a new location and will be up and running shortly with many new and e...xciting opportunities to come for all my clients and the public! I will keep you all posted on the progress of the facility renovation for training and when I am back up and running officially. I look forward to seeing you all so soon again!! Congratulations to my girl JJ Stiffler on breaking the distance record for furthest softball hit I’ve ever seen since I started training! Out of a set of 35 swings recorded, She hit 23 of her 28 hits for home runs and her longest shot was 291 feet!! I am so proud of her and all her hard work she has put in to reach this tremendous accomplishment!! To all my clients starting this week, best of luck in your first week of the season and tournaments!!

Last week was a very special week as Kulbacki Baseball Academy turned 8 and I celebrated my birthday! I know I am a bit delayed but thank you all so much for your birthday wishes. Let’s make this 8th year the best year yet! However, some of the most exciting news to share is that after much wait and anticipation through this pandemic, the doors to K...ulbacki Baseball Academy and Sports City will finally be reopened once again December 1! It has certainly been a tough year for everyone and for me being away from all my clients, but this reopening is just in time to make sure we can still be prepared and ready to dominate 2021! Good afternoon everyone! I would like to first say I hope this message finds everyone and their families in good health through this unprecedented time in our lives. Since March, we have been living a life of uncertainty on a day to day basis. On behalf of Kulbacki Baseball Academy, I would like to send a special thank you to all our doctors, nurses, first responders, healthcare workers, and all those working to help assist others throughout this pandemic. Your efforts are gr...eatly appreciated! For all my clients and to all athletes who had dedicated their time and efforts into improving their skills to see their season drift away, please know my heart has hurt for you all. I can only imagine the emotions because I know there have to be so many going through your minds. Remember to stay positive, and use this setback as motivation to come out ready to dominate as soon as you hit the ground running! Don’t let this hold you back from achieving your goals and dreams! With that being said, for me not being able to fuel that passion for success, or to be around you all to drive you towards achieving your goals because I miss you all so very much, has been extremely difficult for me, to say the least, as well. Working with young athletes and having a chance to meet and interact with amazing families is something I miss very much. However, as badly as I miss working and interacting and helping you all achieve success, I have realized my bigger responsibility is to maintain the safety for you and your families, to sacrifice some of my personal wants and decisions, to respect what our decision makers are advising us to do and to follow their orders to make sure everyone is staying healthy which is our ultimate goal. In lieu of the hopeful green light decision for Dauphin County in the upcoming weeks, it will be then that I will prepare to reopen the cages to Kulbacki Baseball Academy. I have been looking forward to this moment for awhile now and also have a new announcement next week to get us excited for reopening as well!! I love and appreciate you all and it makes me realize how lucky I am to work with such wonderful people! Stay safe and I cant wait to see you all soon!

Today marks the anniversary and beginning of the 7th year of business for Kulbacki Baseball. It’s truly a blessing to be able to see the growth of the business over the years and opportunity to meet and help so many amazing people and families along the way! I couldn’t be more thankful for all those who have helped me get to this point as well. Without you all and your support, I would not be here and thank you so much! Today is a day that gives me an opportunity to take what... I’ve learned, along with some of my core beliefs in giving back to others and those less fortunate around the holiday season, and to begin a tradition that reflects these beliefs. Starting Monday, November 18, Kulbacki Baseball Academy will host a Thanksgiving Food Drive collection for the Hershey Food Bank and Community Outreach Program, along with a Christmas Toy Donation to the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital Child Life Program. It is a chance to make this holiday season a little more special for someone in need and to be a part of the true holiday spirit. Clients who participate will receive discounts during this event as a way of showing my appreciation.
