We are very excited to share with you for the first time the artist renderings of our future home, the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research on the campus of Kutztown University. Not only will this new building house the CMPR but it will also be the new home of the Kutztown Percussion Studies Program. The Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research will feature: -A 2,100 square foot performing space -Exhibit rooms dedicated to each of the specialized collecti...ons -Small ensemble rehearsal rooms -Director’s Office -Dedicated Workshop -Music/Record collection room. However, we can not build this facility without your help! By donating today, 100% of your gift, no matter the size, will be used to help fund the construction of this amazing facility! From now until 1:00pm all donations are being generously matched by an anonymous donor! We wanted to take a minute to tell you about some incentives for donating to the CMPR's #1866challenge in addition to the two incentives from the Kutztown University Foundation! We will recognize names of donors who pledge their support at the $5,000 level ($1,000 per year for five years) on a commemorative plaque on the first floor of the building.... We will recognize the names of donors who pledge their support at the $1,000 level ($200 per year for five years) on a commemorative plaque on the second floor of the building. Those contributing to this year’s campaign at the $101 - $199 level will be given recognition as supporting the Director’s Office on the second floor of the building. Those contributing to this year's campaign at the $100 level will be able to select one arrangement from the Gordon Peters Percussion Chamber Music Library.
