DELTA MEDIX HOLDING COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC Scranton, Pennsylvania April 8, 2021 Delta Medix in conjunction with Lackawanna County will be holding a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, April 10, at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton. The clinic will be held from 10:00 AM 2:00 PM for individuals who qualify under Phase 1B. There are 1,400 Johnson & Johnson vaccines available for distribution. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is a one-time shot, meaning no second ...shot is required. Those interested in scheduling an appointment can call 570-800-7517, leave a voicemail, and the call will be returned to make an appointment. People can also schedule online at www.deltamedix.com or can go directly to the online form here. Once the registration form is received, you will receive a call to schedule an appointment time. We are always pursuing grant opportunities that will benefit the residents, organizations and businesses across Lackawanna County! The county will request $4.3 million through CARES funding for the towers. The project will help close extreme and intermittent service gaps in broadband/internet service as well as assist in closing gaps in service for local government offices and local commercial and business establishments, according to the grant summary. The tower locations wi...ll require design services, access roads, concrete pads, service building and all transmitters/equipment necessary. Locations include: 250-foot tower in Merli-Sarnoski Park in Greenfield Twp., the northernmost region of Lackawanna County. 300-foot tower in Covington Park, a mid-county location. 240-foot tower on land owned by the state and Pennsylvania American Water, adjacent to the State Hospital in Newton Twp. 125-foot tower on the Scott Twp. Municipal Building headquarters. 125-foot tower on municipal-owned land in Dalton. #lackawannacountycares4u
