Lake Effect Meadery

Cinilla Maple Dream clocked in 18.4 % abv. OG of 1.190 and final gravity of 1.050. This mead showcases local clover honey and local syrup from the heart of Edinboro from Lesuer's sugar shack. Cinnamon sticks and madagascar vanilla beans were rested atop in secondary. Lastly toasted marshmallows as the dream series always has were added halfway through primary fermentation.This mead is reminiscent of a cinnamon roll drenched with icing. I will be hosting a giveaway in the near future. Be on the lookout!

Little update. Racked and taste tested Cinilla Maple Dream. Removed the cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans. I think it's perfect so I stabilized it and will be bottling in a week or so. Flavor profile: Cinnamon cookie with a creamy frosting.

Always fun watching yeasts "come to life". In latest news cinillamaple dream was racked and cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans were added today. Nana-chocallow is still chugging along. S'mores mead is still in primary fermentation and started blue raspberry sno cone concept mead.

As many of you know nana choc allow tied first place amongst 50 banana style meads this past August. So I decided it deserves its own unique label and decided to put a twist with a new name.
