Mojo's sleeves are rolled up and he's ready to dig into that Super Bowl dip!!! And to stay as warm as possible lol.
Our CVT Lydia was more than happy to escort Elsa into the building yesterday. Elsa, a 4 month old Saint Bernard, weighed in at 38lbs. Don't think we'll be able to lift her next time
Judd , an 11 week old Great Dane, was in today for some vaccine boosters. This boy is so sweet. All of our staff had to stop to say hi to him. And yes, he will definitely grow in to those paws!
Pud Pud is doing some calculations on how much more snow we'll be getting. She's still working on the answer.
COVID UPDATE We unfortunately have had a staff member test positive for Covid 19. The clinic has been thoroughly deep cleaned and proper quarantine procedures have been taken. We are currently doing curbside service only. The office is open today for sick appointments. The office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, except to answer phones and refill medications. All emergency will be sent to CPVets in State College. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
Spock doesn’t have much hair, so he made sure to wear his hoodie for his check up today.
Sweet little Audi was recently in our clinic for a dental procedure. (As you can see, he had quite the rough time of it. ) Dog dental disease has serious consequences, so maintaining good dental care is very important. Dental disease (also known as periodontal disease) in dogs is quite common. By age three, over 80% of dogs have some form of it. Good dental care is integral to the overall health of your pet for many reasons - preventing tooth loss, preventing bad breath, ...preventing oral pain, preventing organ damage (bacteria in the plaque can enter the bloodstream and spread to the heart, kidneys, and liver; this spread can cause organ damage and make your pet very sick), and preventing worsening dental disease. Our clinic does thorough dental procedures referred to as Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT). These are anesthetized procedures that include a complete examination of the mouth, dental x-rays, scaling/polishing of all teeth, and extractions of teeth as needed. For more information, please feel free to contact our clinic!
The votes are in! The winner is....TEAM 3! Congratulations to Brandy, Lydia, and Dr. Whitfield!

Anyone else shoveling grass for the dog? Oh, just us?? Teddee was ready for the storm!
Stardust stopped by for a visit and decided that she wanted to do an impromptu photoshoot while here. She really knew how to work the camera, too!
If your fur babies could talk... what would they be thankful for this year? We wish you all a safe and healthy holiday! P.S. No table scraps for the pets... or at least be sure to skip the gravy!!!
Happy Veterans Day! Many thanks to all of our veterans for their service
