I know some of you have never registered for the event and I didn't want you to miss our exciting announ...cement. --------------------------------------------- Hello! I know it has been a very long time since I have sent out an email regarding the details of Relay For Life of General McLane. 2020 took a huge toll on your American Cancer Society which has resulted in a total restructuring of the business and as a result, the events. That, and the desire to wait later in the year to have a more impactful event, has resulting in the planning committee reimagining the event for 2021. Early brainstorming and planning includes a corn hole tournament, sand volleyball tournament, 5k Fun Run/ Walk, car show, vendor fair, community scavenger hunt, luminaria event and more. We will be holding these events in downtown Edinboro and the surrounding areas over the course of two days, August 7th and 8th. Teams are welcome to hold events of their own during that time that we can publicize along with these events or offer to be part of the execution of some of the events the planning team is already putting together. We invite you to join us in anyway you wish to be involved. Our next (virtual) planning meeting is this Saturday, March 6th at 11 am.
