The La Mott Fire Company sends our condolences to the Southampton Fire Company and the family of former Chief Bob Stahl on Chief Stahl's passing. Below is the announcement The Southampton Fire Company It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of life member and past Chief, Bob Stahl. In addition to being a life member, Bob served 10 years as Chief Officer, including 5 years as Fire Chief. Bob dedicated his life to the fire service, also serving as a teacher and me...ntor both locally and on a national level. Bob joined the department in 1970 and was recently recognized for an amazing 50 years of service to the fire company. Bob was also active with the HAZ-MAT teams in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Bob’s reach extended nationally as he was an instructor at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD. Please join us in recognizing his great history of service as we pass along condolences to his family. See more
When you dial 9-1-1 they answer the phone. When we call on the radio, they answer the radio. When we need help, they send it. We have always called them "dispatchers", but they are so much more, they are Telecommunicatiors. While you don't see them, they are a very important part of the team, and this week we celebrate them and say thank you!
To those that celebrate, Happy Easter from the men and women of the La Mott Fire Company.
At 03:32 this morning the Fire Company was dispatched to Lynnwood Gardens for a smell of smoke and gas in the area. Our Chief Odoriferous Officer, Kevin Lynch quickly responded to the scene and determined that the smell was that of a skunk. Chief Odoriferous who has been known to emit skunk like smells then recalled all units. They say most fire calls are just "smells and bells".............this morning was just smells!
As we continue to update, we have new gear racks at the Fire House. After investigating commercial gear racks, one of our oldest members Joe Reaney was able to find parts and the fire company members built these beautiful racks. This in-house project saved the fire company thousands of dollars. Even our Chief's mascot duck likes the new racks.
Our new training dummy Rescue Rick, lounging around the station after his long flight from the United Kingdom.
LaMott Fire Company is seeking qualified firefighters to staff our new live-in program in an apartment around the corner from the firehouse. Minimum requirements: - 18yo - Firefighter I certified... - Hazmat Ops certified (current) - First Aid/CPR (current) If you meet the requirements and you're looking for a great opportunity to volunteer and live rent free, please contact us at [email protected].
Last year, we sold our Special Service to Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Company of Lake Harmony, PA. We recently received the new pictures of the updated truck and we think that it looks great!
The Fire Company is proud to announce the arrival of the new Engine 2. On February 9th we proudly took delivery of this 2018 KME rescue pumper. This truck had been a demonstration vehicle for Matheny Fire and Emergency in Maryland. The Fire company made modifications that were done by Matheny to meet our specifications. This is the second demonstration vehicle we have purchased, proving our fiscal responsibility by saving several hundred thousand dollars, while significantly upgrading our fleet. Thank you to Tim Allaband and all the folks at Matheny for a job well done. We hope to place the truck in service in the next 3-4 weeks, after which we will be selling "old" engine 2

Today at 5:20 AM, E2, E1, L1 & QT16 were dispatched to the 1400 block of Clements Rd for a building fire. Upon arrival, E2's crew assisted E1 w/ water supply and proceeded to pull a backup line and made entry to the structure to work on extinguishing efforts. Many thanks to all companies present that helped.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

This is an annual event to help bring attention to the needs of the hungry in our community. 19 Years ago 343 of our brothers and sisters lost their lives in New York City. These heroes ran into burning and collapsing buildings to saves lives, knowing they might never return. Please take a moment today to remember those heroes, the 2,977 people who lost their lives on that horrible day, and those that have passed since 9-1-1 from related illnesses.
