Our staff and individuals in care had a great time decorating holiday cookies! It's important that we're able to celebrate with those around us, especially this year when we may be a bit more distanced from loved ones than we're used to. We hope everyone is able to find some connection this holiday season!

Cyberbullying can be particularly difficult for children and teens to navigate as it can be more pervasive than in-person bullying. Help your child navigate the online space by educating them on the reality of cyberbullying and establishing clear guidelines for how they use the technology in your home. Congratulations to our November Employee of the Month, Audrisha! Front Office Assistant Audrisha was nominated for Employee of the Month because she is constantly engaged and happily assists others, whether it is by her altering her schedule to support additional hours in the screening tent or being of immediate assistance to the intake department. Empathic, considerate and hard working, Audrisha always strives to learn more and asks meaningful questions in order to have a deeper understanding of the population we serve. Thank you for all you do!

Our Dietary team has been excited to incorporate lettuce and spinach from our Hope Garden into our salad options! Our individuals in care have been tending this beautiful garden, also growing herbs and other "fall interest" plants like ornamental kale and cabbage. Great work!

You are not alone. If you or someone you know is considering suicide or having a mental health crisis, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline '1-800-273-TALK (8255)' to be connected to a trained crisis worker. You are worth it.

According to the CDC, "The best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus." To help avoid transmission of either virus, remember to wash your hands, wear your masks in public and remain six feet or more apart from people. Although there is not yet a vaccine for COVID-19, we encourage you to get your flu shot. To learn more about how to remain safe, read http://bit.ly/ProtectYourselfandOthers.

We were proud to support the Junior Achievement of South Central PA Putt for Education! This event gathers local businesses to support a great cause and has raised over $750,000. Although this year, the 30th anniversary of the event, looks a little different, our Business Development team enjoyed their time and supporting this great mission.
