The Lancaster North Christian Women’s Club wishes to express our gratitude for your support through the past many years, you have been such a HUGE blessing to us. We MISS YOU. Due to our ‘shelter in place’ restrictions we will not be gathering together at our regular meetings at Bent Creek until it is safe to do so. We will keep you updated and hope it won’t be long until we are together again. Until then we want to encourage you with our prayers for you during this difficult... season we are all facing together. We pray God’s protection and strength on each one and express a grateful heart for those serving on the ‘front lines’. We are continually praying to God, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth, on your behalf. 16 We pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 That Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Over the past 10 days, members of the LCWC Planning Team and Area & Regional Representatives of Stonecroft have been paying close attention to developments re: the coronavirus. The health & safety of our outreach attendees, guest speakers, presenters and other support staff is of utmost importance. The Center for Disease Control advises that events of 50 or more people should be cancelled or postponed during the next 8 weeks. Therefore, the Lancaster Christian Women’s Club L...uncheon scheduled for Wednesday April 1st is cancelled. Guest Speaker, Leah Ball of Erie PA will be re-scheduled for a later date. The fashion show by Christopher & Banks planned for April 1st will be re-scheduled for July or August. If you have already invited a guest to this luncheon, please contact them immediately re: cancellation. Stonecroft CEO, Dr. Naomi Overton supports us in making wise choices. She & the Stonecroft staff offer their prayers and hope that we will find alternative ways to support each other. They pray that we will all continue to experience Jesus’ love even more powerfully during this isolating time.
