What gets me about this one is I 100% see it as my agent duties to help my clients before, during, and especially after they purchase a home. Call me anytime. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll get it!

Do you understand how interest rates work? Basically what this chart shows you is: If your budget allows for about a $1300/month mortgage payment, your buying power is over $40k higher when the interest rate is lower. Interest rates lately have been around or even below 3%...which means you can probably afford way more house than you once thought!

Earlier this week I wrote offers for two of my buyers, on properties that already had offers...of course, because as you know the market is very competitive right now. Admittedly, I was certain these offers would not be accepted for a variety of reasons. But sure enough, yesterday I got a call from both listing agents within about an hour of each other informing me that their sellers accepted our offers! I was stunned and elated. So excited for my buyers. It always works out exactly how it’s supposed to As difficult as this market is for Buyers right now...there are ways to make your offer stand out, and that’s exactly what these buyers did.
