Just finished re-stacking this 1825 log cabin that we took down in February. I will try and keep everyone updated on the rebuild.

Under 2 layers of wood and insulbrick Siding,we have uncoverd this amazing piece of local history dating back to 1835. This cabin is possibly the oldest surviving structure in Lawrence county. We are tagging it for reassembly as someone's beautiful mountain retreat cabin. Currently available for sale.12-13-18

Still standing strong since around 1850. Beautiful craftsmanship that is nearly impossible to find these days.

Beautiful hand hewn white oak beams and pine siding.

This old barn has seen better days,but it will yield lots of good old timbers that will live on for many years to come. Kind of a sad day for the property owners,but they realized that re-purposing the old wood really made sense,rather than seeing it fall into a pile of unused rubble.

Just saved this ancient horse buggy for the owners of this farm.The farm has been in the same family since the early 1800's.

HUGE 9X12X63' long hand hewn white oak beam that we spent many hours reclaiming from an 1800's Pa.bank barn.This is the longest oak beam that we have ever Recovered since starting this business over 16 years ago.Amazing craftsmanship from our pioneer forefathers!
