Please join us in supporting Lankenau Medical Center’s mission of preserving life and ministering to the sick through the Women’s Board Tree of Life annual fundraising event. The stars on this tree represent a gift given to Lankenau in honor of a loved one, friend or colleague, or to commemorate a special occasion. A large evergreen tree on the hospital lawn is also decorated with lights representing the gifts. Today marks the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, which claimed the lives of more than 2,500 people in New York, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania. It isn’t often that we recognize the magnitude of historical moments as they happen, but September 11, 2001 was a rare exception. My hope for our Main Line Health family is that we all take a moment this weekend to quietly honor the thousands of lives lost and the millions more affected by this tragic event, both at ...home and abroad. In a special way, please join me in remembering our veterans, military families and first respondersnot only did they show great courage in the face of the unknown, but we know well that the emotional trauma of emergency response can linger for many years. As always, we thank them for their service and sacrifice. Twenty years later, we still remember and we will never forget. President & CEO Jack Lynch, FACHE

Wishing you and your family a Happy Hanukkah!
We are proud to be the first in the state to offer a new treatment option for abdominal aortic aneurysm. The ALTO has a superior design that makes it a preferable option for providers but its most important feature is that it offers improved outcomes and allows us to improve the quality of life and survival rate for more patients than ever before, says vascular surgeon Robert Meisner, MD, FACS.
We know you have many options for how to give back to your community this #GivingTuesday. At Main Line Health, we hope you'll consider a donation to support the important #COVID19 research being done at our research institute, Lankenau Institute for Medical Research. Our research team is doing amazing work to understand COVID and its effect on our communities. We appreciate your consideration and thank you, as always, for your partnership and support of our hospital.
TONIGHT: Join us for our Tree of Life lighting ceremony...virtually! You can watch our annual celebration beginning at 5:30 this evening on local cable stations, including MLTV Main Line Network, Verizon/Comcast 21 (Radnor), and Verizon 34 (Lower Merion, Narberth). This event supports our patients and programs at Lankenau, and we are so grateful for your generosity.

Dr. Marisa Weiss, director of breast health outreach and founder of Breastcancer.org, is conducting a study to determine if CBD could offer a treatment for patients with chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.
Today and always, we will never forget.
While this Labor Day feels very different, the spirit of the holiday is more meaningful than ever. Thank you to our entire Main Line Health team for your unmatched levels of resilience, teamwork, and compassion throughout #COVID19.

As we celebrate Fourth of July, we reflect on the significance of this holiday. We had the honor to observe Eritrean Martyrs’ Day with members of our Eritrean community, who visited us last week to offer their thanks to our health care team with a magnolia tree to be planted on our campus. We are so grateful for this gift, which will surely be a sign of hope and healing for years to come. Thank you for such a generous and thoughtful gesture!
