BACK THEN by DICK SHEARER What’s going on here? Could it be that Ronald McDonald was moonlighting at the Montgomeryville Ground Round when this 1990 Reporter photograph was snapped? More likely, just a copyclown.

BACK THEN by DICK SHEARER Talk about an ageless photograph. Take away the early 1920s car and this view of a twin home in the 400 block of Columbia Avenue could have been taken today on any number of Lansdale streets. These houses, nearly new at the time, were part of the town’s rapidly expanding West Ward during the building boom of that era.
