Mayor Tony shares a Veterans Day message with residents - thanking all veterans for their service and sacrifice. As we celebrate Veterans Day this week on November 11, as your Mayor, I want to thank all veterans for their service and the sacrifices that they have made for our country. You are the reason we have our freedom and all the rights we enjoy in this great country. Thank You. One of those rights is exercising our right to vote. I want to thank all Lansdowne resid...ents who came out to vote either in person or by mail. You voted orderly and with a purpose. No matter who you voted for it was true democracy at its best. I want to thank all the volunteer poll workers who spent all day making sure everything was done properly and fairly. Job well done. Now that the election is over we have many things to work on. Things like the the pandemic, racism, the economy, climate change and a divided country. We need to come together and work together to solve these issues as Americans. I think we can do that and I know we need to do that for everyone. Stay safe, wear a mask and see you around town. Mayor Tony

Remember to Vote Today! Voters are encouraged to review a Sample Ballot for their precinct before voting. This will help voters familiarize themselves with the candidates and reduce time spent voting at the polling place, which will expedite the process for all voters. Sample Ballots can be viewed at https://qoo.ly/38zqji. Voters at the polls are urged to wear a mask. They are also encouraged to wash or sanitize their hands. These measures will help residents protect each other and the poll workers who have dedicated their time on Election Day.
