TASTY FOOD TODAY AT THE EECO CENTER! LCG is in partnership with 412 Food Rescue to be a food resource in the community on a weekly basis. Food will be distributed to Larimer residents today. Most times the food is a prepared meal from a local restaurant ready for your family to eat! Available while supplies last. Look for the sign outside of the EECO Center between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.

We are now in Phase 2 of the vaccine eligibility schedule. That means everyone in the state of Pennsylvania 16 years of age and older is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. The county Points of Dispensing (PODs) are offering both Moderna and Pfizer vaccine and have appointments available at its sites in Castle Shannon, the Hill District, McKeesport and Ross. You may register for an appointment at http://vax4.alleghenycounty.us or call 2-1-1 daily between 9 AM and Noon for assistance. Protect your family and yourself with the vaccine. They are safe and effective!

Beginning today, April 12, 2021, all individuals eligible for vaccination in Phase 1C may register for an appointment at http://vax4.alleghenycounty.us or may call 2-1-1 daily between 9 AM and Noon for assistance. Phase 1C includes essential workers in these sectors: transportation and logistics, water and wastewater, food service, housing construction, finance including bank tellers, information technology, communications, energy including nuclear reactors, legal service...s, media, public safety and public health workers. This phase also includes federal, state, county and local government workers including poll workers elected officials and members of the judiciary and their staff. The Allegheny County Health Department is offering the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines at clinics in Castle Shannon, the Hill District (City of Pittsburgh), McKeesport and Ross.
