Finally got the milking stand built for Mia, not the most skilled craftsmanship, but it'll do!

Everyone welcome our newest addition to the madness, Ruby the fainting goat. Though in her winter coat she seems part sheep.

I know for living on a farm you'd think I'd have a green thumb but it's actually been a struggle between plants and I. This is my jalapeno, lovingly named Pablo, and the first successful take at a plant I've had. So I am very, very proud of him and his little jalapenos. <3

Two months old and still getting bigger! Blue in the top back there is my favorite, but sadly also the only one who will let me no where near her.

New and improved coop with some happy mew residents! Got a new easy clean floor mat put down, cobwebs dusted off and a new easy clean chicken perch! Even in all the storms, managed to get all the babies and adults settled away. The geese and ducks are right below this coop making things a lot easier when I have to go refill waters.

It's not perfect and not yet complete but I say this has been mighty satisfying finally getting this wall back in place. Just the first step in cleaning up and securing the new pen for the geese next month!

Still some tying and cleaning to do, but note for anyone out there. Don't forget to prune the thorning blackberry canes, it's a lot more difficult if you do!
