Lawyers Settlement & Abstract

We were so happy to support the #CutoffChallenge (https://cutoffchallenge.com/) 2020 golf event. This year's event benefitted the #ForeverFiveFund (https://pittsburghfoundation.org/anniewhittingham) which was established in November 2019 in memory of Annie Whittingham. Money donated to this fund will allow for the revitalization of McCahill Park playground in Fox Chapel Borough and serve as a place for Annie to be remembered.

Just a reminder that effective January 1, 2020 the total transfer tax for properties located in the City of Pittsburgh will increase from 4.5% to 5%. The Allegheny County Department of Real Estate (the Recorder of Deeds) will use the date the document is notarized to determine whether the tax rate required will be 4.5% or 5% for documents recorded after January 1, 2020.
