I thought I would share this. I assume the Wolf thinks he is benevolent by making these changes.

Once again Pat Toomey betrayed his nation, his state, his party the Constitution and his former President. He is an embarrassment to Pennsylvania. It appears he now takes his orders from his leftist buddy Bob Casey. I almost wish he would run again just so I could work against him. Make sure you let him know our disgust with him. Vince Matteo

Today the Dictator Wolf will propose a nearly 20% increase in the state personal income tax for a vast majority of Pennsylvania. Since his pandemic policies have stopped ten of thousands of people from earning an income, where does he think the money is going to come from. Here is the score: New Democratic President: Kill thousands of jobs with actions halting the Keystone Pipeline vs. Democratic Governor who proposes the highest increase in the PIT during a pandemic in which he is not allowing people to work. Pick your poison. Vince Matteo

At our meeting of January 14th, the members of the Lycoming County Republican Committee present voted unanimously to send a letter to Senator Pat Toomey expressing our strong disappointment and concern that he would call on President Trump to resign without any due process. I sent the following letter the the Senator on January 18th and emailed it on January 19th. I am making the letter public now because enough time has past and he should have seen it by now and while I ha...ve not heard from the Senator, I did hear from a staff member that the email was received (It was not an automatically generated reply). If I do hear from the Senator I will publish it here as well. (The letter was sent on LCRC letterhead) -------------------------------------------------------- January 19, 2021 Patrick Toomey United States Senator 248 Russell Senate Office Building Washington, DC 20510 Dear Senator Toomey: I am writing on behalf of the members of the Lycoming County Republican Committee. At our meeting of January 14, 2021 the members present voted unanimously to express to you our sincere disappointment and concern in your call for President Donald Trump to resign following the horrible action taken by rioters at the Capitol Building. We firmly believe your actions were not in the best interests of Pennsylvania or the United States. It was also not in the best interests of bringing our nation together. We were further dismayed that you would run to CNN; the network that spent four years continually undermining the President and pushing the false Russian collusion narrative. This betrayal by you is unexplainable and inexcusable and, quite frankly, had an air of revenge unbecoming your office. While it is clear you never fully supported President Trump, we expect more from our Senator. Finally, you now claim if an Impeachment trial is held you will review the evidence to determine how you will vote. It is hard to believe that you could judge fairly since you already played judge and jury when you called on President Trump to resign. Your obvious bias against the President may have disqualified you in the Impeachment trial. Senator, you owe President Trump and the people of Pennsylvania an apology. Sincerely, Vincent J. Matteo Chairman Lycoming County Republican Committee CC. Lycoming County Republican Committee

And so it begins. In one of his first acts in office President Biden cancelled the XL Pipeline. Thousand jobs and playing into foreign oil interests especially Russia and China. Mark my words, he will eventually ban fracking. Then watch Pennsylvania’s unemployment rate rise. Vince

I went out today to pick up some things and was on 180 heading home (west) and was reminded of the idiocy of our Governor when I saw the digital sign that spells out Pennsylvania’s so-called out of state travel restrictions for out of state visitors that says they must have tested negative for covid 19 or they must self quarantine here for 14 days. Is he really serious? Does he actually think people, will listen and abide by this idiocy? What he should do is pay attention to... the tens of thousands of Pennsylvanians who have lost their jobs during the pandemic in large part due to his continual shut down of our economy. A new report released yesterday said 30 % of Pennsylvanian small businesses have closed because of the pandemic and ongoing shutdowns and restrictions. It is time Governor Wolf either woke up or resigned. That is my personal opinion. Best Regards, Vince Matteo. See more

Mr. Biden claims he wants unity, to bring the country together and that he will be the President of all Americans. Yet, he refuses to stop attacking Republicans and all Trump supporters and he says he will not intervene to stop Peloisi and her vindictive move to impeach President Trump again. If that is his position now, how divisive will he be once he is inaugurated and his party is in control of both Houses of Congress? We must use the next two years to lay the ground work ...to defeat the socialists across America. Our first steps will start this year with local elections and then the following year with the Governors race. We must make certain we take over the Governorship in 2022 and get control of the U.S. House of Representatives. If we do not, the Pennsylvania and America we know will be gone for generations or forever. We must use every legal way to regain control of our destiny and the destiny of America. See more

I have been sickened by what I witnessed today when the Capitol Building was stormed this afternoon just as I was sickened all summer by the violence and rioting across America by left wing extremists. But, if we are to condemn the leftists for the violence they perpetrated, we must condemn what occurred today caused by right wing extremism. Neither is acceptable. I fully understand that many of us believe the Presidential election was stolen and those claims were never given... a fair hearing. Regardless, the way to a long term victory is not by rioting and doing what the left does. The way to winning America back is to outsmart our opponents, we can and will do that, but we will not win the hearts and minds of a majority of Americans by condoning violence of the sort we saw today. I am pleased to take over as Administrator for the Lycoming County Republican Party Facebook Page. As the Chairman of the Lycoming County Republican Committee I... want to assure this is a great site for members of the Republican Party to voice their opinions on political and party issues of the day. While we believe in the First Amendment and Freedom of Speech, this is not a site that will tolerate trolling or other forms of unnecessary harassment. I look forward to a positive experience for all who value America, the freedoms we enjoy, and the history of the Grand Old Party. Finally, I want to thank Carlos Saldivia for his hard work and in turning this site over to me and our future chairs. Happy New Year. See more

I would like to take this moment to reach out and wish each of you and your families a healthy and happy New Year. 2020 was a very difficult year but we have come through it and we will continue our fight to preserve the freedoms and privileges we enjoy as Americans. God Bless you and remember to work to keep America great! Vince Matteo Chairman

As Chairman of the LCRC I want to thank Representative Fred Keller for voting against the so-called Covid Relief bill passed. This bill falls way short of what is truly needed to help hardworking citizens who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic and is a complete failure when it comes to helping our small businesses devastated by the pandemic. It also includes foreign aid and millions to organizations such as the Kennedy Center. If these added provisions are good, then let them stand alone for a vote, don’t hide them in this critical aid bill for America. Congratulations Representative Keller. I know this vote may have been difficult, but that is what we sent you to Washington to do, to make the hard decisions.
