Having a great time at Leadership Susquehanna Valley Community and Human Services Day! It's amazing the number of philanthropic initiatives under way in the va...lley to make a difference in our communities. I especially enjoyed learning more about the Community Giving Foundation and how foundations in general operate. Great learning experience! #leaders #mydayatlsv

Holy Toledo! In the last few hours, our alumni and class far surpassed our goal, raising an organic contribution total of $5,950.00 while our Board campaign hit the target and brought in a $1,000.00 bonus prize. After anticipated stretch funds from the FCFP, LSV is on track to have (at least) our second-best fundraising experience in Raise the Region. Why second best? Last year, we happened to win two prizes (one was lucky!) That second prize is all that separates this ye...ar from our best Raise the Region ever! THANK YOU!!!! Here’s Lizz Hendricks in a lemur facade as a thank you gift!

May the dulcet tones of Loni Briner, LSV Board Immediate Past President, lull you to sleep in these late hours. Passionate about a nonprofit project or searching for a place to help? Loni and our PR Committee created a landing page on the LSV website to help LSV alums and class members more easily connect with area nonprofits...just one of the few wags our alumni are helping to connect the Valley. Your gift to #raisetheregion could help us fund our next big idea. ... Visit here for one last shot to give during our target window! https://www.raisetheregion.org//leadership-susquehanna-val

Its not difficult to scroll back through LSV photos and find close friendships developing over time. Here’s a twofer - Heather Buttorff and Anna Trayer, Class of 2015, palling around at an alumni gathering. Heather and Anna got scooped up by LSV early, and their volunteerism with LSV is most appreciated. Join them and the rest of the Board of Directors as they give between midnight and 5am, as the Board will honor their annual pledges in search of a sleepy-time prize! Spo...iler alert - we’re going to see another video testimonial if you can stay awake! To support LSV during Raise the Region, donate here: https://www.raisetheregion.org//leadership-susquehanna-val
