OCTOBER UPDATE: COVID-19 Precaution Plan for Onsite Services As you may have heard by now, the West Middlesex High School began a two-week closure yesterday (Friday, October 24) in response to a staff person testing positive to COVID-19. This closure should prompt us as a congregation to respond in several ways: First and foremost, let us join in prayer for those who have tested positive - praying for a quick recovery that does not lead to any serious health problems. PROJECT COMPLETE!!! After many months of planning and work, not to mention years of idea sharing and discussion, the Session of Elders at Lebanon Presbyterian Church are happy to announce that the Handicap Lift Project is now complete. This project included the installation of a 4' x 5' platform lift that provides handicap accessibility to all three levels of the church building, along with a new concrete sidewalk that provides an ADA ramp into the building from the east/...mercer side parking lot. One behalf of the congregation, the elders would like to thank the following people and businesses for their exceptional work and service to our church: - Garaventa Lift Co. (lift manufaction and installation) - Buxton Construction (general contractor) - Shenango Steel Buildings (steel fabrication and installation) - Tom Keller & Vic Cawthorne (architutectal drawings and concepts) - Carl Gravatt (stain and finish on all wood trim) - Ron Perna (concrete contractor) - Elder, Chuck Gearhart (painting) - Church Member, Jess Sowers (project manager) Also, our most sincere gratitude to all the individuals and families over the past several years who have made both regular contributions and memorial donations in honor of those who have faithfully served our Lord, Jesus Christ as members of Lebanon Presbyterian Church. As a result of these generous contributions and memorial gifts, the project is not only complete, but also paid in full. Grace & Peace to All Pastor Augie

FACING TRIALS September Sermon Series. Perhaps you have heard it said once before, When life hands you a lemon, make lemonade. And if I am being honest, I must say that this entire year (so far) has felt like a lemon. So, I say, let’s make some lemonade in September. This is where the book of James comes in handy, particularly the first chapter. Join us in worship, either onsite or online, as we study a short passage of scripture (James 1:2-8) that can help us all face... the many types of trials in our lives. The following is a list of upcoming sermons’ titles with respective verses: Sept. 6: Consider Your Trials as Pure Joy (vs. 2). Sept. 13: Count Your Trials as a Test (vs. 3). Sept. 20: Perseverance is the Point (vs. 4). Sept. 27: Wisdom is the Key (vs. 5-8). SERVICE TIMES at LEBANON. - The Early Rise Service (8:30 - 9:15 am) - The Live Stream Service (Facebook at 8:30 am) - The Family Praise Service (11:00 - 11:45 am)

Blessings to all, and I trust that you are all enjoying your Fourth of July weekend. As you may know, we resumed onsite worship service three weeks ago. Since this time each of our worship services have averaged around 30 - 40 people, and everyone in attendance has been very mindful and respectful of our COVID-19 Precaution Plan. In this regard, please take a moment to read the following update to our precaution plan for onsite services this weekend. In response to the rece...nt spike in corona-virus cases within our state and nation, and in light of the executive order issued by Governor Tom Wolf effective July 1, 2020, stating that "wearing masks in a business or when in a public place where social distancing cannot be maintained is now required," our elders would kindly ask everyone to wear a mask when entering and exiting our church facility. Once you are seated in the sanctuary, it is recommended that you continue to wear your mask or, presuming that you are seated in a place that ensures proper social distancing, at your personal discretion you may chose to remove your mask for the service of worship. Thank you to all for helping create an atmosphere of worship that seeks to ensure the health and well-being of all. Pastor, Augie Hurst
