An Important Message from the Board of Trustees With the announcement of stay-at-home advisories by both county and commonwealth officials, the Society's Board of Trustees voted at its November 18th meeting to close the History Center to the public for thirty days, at which time the situation will be reevaluated. This decision was taken to protect the health and welfare of both visitors and volunteers and to lessen the possibility of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

Historic District Medallions Are Now On Sale For A Limited Time! If your property is listed as a Contributing Structure in Mt. Lebanon’s prestigious National Register Historic District you have an opportunity to purchase a Historic District Medallion from the Historical Society at a reduced price. The medallion is six inches in diameter, consistent with the design and color scheme of Mt. Lebanon’s public signage, and comes with mounting hardware. The standard price is $2...14.00 including tax. However, if you order your medallion prior to January 1st, we are offering a holiday gift discount of 20%. Your price would be only $171.20 including tax. You can see a medallion mounted next to the front door of the Mount Lebanon History Center, 794 Washington Road. We currently have about 23 medallions in stock. If not in stock, you will receive your medallion in six to eight weeks. Include your email and mailing address so we can notify you when your medallion is ready to be picked up.
