On Sunday after the Pancreatic Cancer Walk be sure to head over to Big Woody's Hamilton St. This location will be donating 15% of the days proceeds back to the Lustgarten Foundation. https://events.lustgarten.org//2019-lehigh-valley-/e215173
11 years ago when I started the Lehigh Valley Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk this did not exist. There is progress being made but a lot more to be done. Keytruda is the first cancer drug based on a genetic characteristic, rather than tumor site, to be approved by the FDA for use in pancreatic cancer patients. The Lustgarten Foundation played a critical role in bringing this new treatment to patients by funding the research, encouraging patients to get tested and funding pati...ents’ testing to determine if their tumors are mismatch repair deficient. Hoping you can join me on Sunday as we continue to raise funds for research. 100% of all money raised will go directly towards Pancreatic Cancer Research. https://events.lustgarten.org//2019-lehigh-valley-/e215173
