ATTENTION STUDENTS!! Take an active role in changing the trajectory for this semester by attending the live discussion being held TODAY with the COVID-19 Response Team. Among the topics will be: What does the current number of COVID-19 cases mean for students living on and off campus? Will more restrictions be implemented to mitigate the spread of the virus? What actions can we take as individuals and as a community to alter course and make the semester successful? Check your email for registration and zoom link.

In typical Lehigh fashion, our students, faculty, and staff across the board have contributed generously during this pandemic to our local community. From blood drives, to meals weekly at a local homeless shelter, to holiday presents for our local school kiddos, our Lehigh community has provided critical support in a difficult time. Food security has been an underlying, systemic issue for our community in South Bethlehem. As a result of the pandemic and its impact, this issu...e has dramatically increased. Lehigh friends and family, at this time and we are asking for you all to consider donating one item to one of our Community Schools. Each of our South Side schools have an emergency food pantry, two of which were created in response to the ongoing impact of the pandemic. These pantries were established to guarantee that our community school students and families with emergent needs have items immediately accessible to them and keep them comfortable until they are able to connect with the Hispanic Center. Our schools each also have an Amazon Wish list on the Lehigh University Community Service Office website (on the home page under the "want to help our community schools." (These lists are an ongoing wish list for the schools so you may notice other non-food items on there.) Thank you for considering supporting our schools as we prepare for what may be an incredibly challenging winter for our community!!
