The Lehighton Fire Department would like to wish everyone a Safe and Merry Christmas!

This evening we completed our 2020 Santa delivery event. The Officers and Members of the Lehighton Fire Department were excited to be able to safely deliver Santa, giving children a glimmer of normalcy to this Holiday Season. We Thank the community and Borough of Lehighton Officials for their support of this event. We would also like to thank Lehighton Fire Police for their help with this event. Keep an eyes out next fall for Santa delivery 2021!!

Mayor Ritter has lifted the Snow Emergency effective 1:00pm on December 17th. Vehicles may be parked on the designated routes. Last evening some members of the Lehighton Fire Department did some preparing for today Snow storm by installing chains on some of the fire apparatus. With the high snow fall totals expected, we are asking the public to help us by clearing fire hydrants in your neighborhood. Having accessible fire hydrants when there is a fire is critical. Thank you for you help and stay safe!
