Please see link of Governor Wolfs order here: https://www.governor.pa.gov//gov...ernor-wolf-and-health-sec/ As the state seeks relief to save lives and stop the spread of COVID-19, today Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine revised the Stay at Home order to include Lehigh and Northampton counties, bringing the state total to 10 counties under the stay-at-home order. ALLENTOWN CITY HALL OPERATIONS CONTINUE: Social Distancing will be Practiced The City of Allentown will be making every attempt to continue operations for the r...esidents and businesses of the City. During this unprecedented time, City staff will continue to carry out the critical functions of City government. Currently, we are discouraging personal visitation to City Hall. We ask that any business that can be possibly conducted remotely via phone, email, or USPS, should be done by that method. And anyone that is planning to come to City Hall should call first. Our lobby will be accessible via the Penn Street entrance, but the general public may not proceed beyond the lobby. The City will continue to process permits, register business licenses, and receive payments, but PLEASE conduct your business REMOTELY if possible. The City can email, and hard copy approved permits, process check payments, and send receipts via mail; and perform many other functions without person-to-person contact. Some staff may be working a staggered work schedule, so responses may be slightly delayed. The phone directory for City staff is located here: https://www.allentownpa.gov/Contact-Us/Phone-Listing Other inquiries can be sent via email here: https://www.allentownpa.gov/Contact-Us/Contact-Form City department webpages with links for forms and applications are located here: https://www.allentownpa.gov/Government/Departments-Bureaus We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this unprecedented time.
