Len Nichols Construction

This is the second project to win an award for us this year. A kitchen remodel for a great Meadville couple. One of the unique things about this project is that the slate countertops once served as chalkboards in Arter Hall at Allegheny College where they have both taught.

Can't believe it's been over a year since we last posted anything on our page. This is one of two projects that took best in class for us in the annual Builder's Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania Awards of Excellence. The primary focus of this project was a spacious back porch and a lovely stone pathway to a fire-pit for a wonderful client in Meadville.

This is the second of two projects that took an award for us at the awards banquet of the Builder's Association of Northwestern Pa last night. This was a dormer addition to a lakeside property that included an expanded master bedroom with master bath, and a bunk room for visiting grandkids. Unfortunately we were so pleased with how the bunk room turned out that we forgot to take photos of the other two rooms. This took Best in Class for a Residential Addition in it's price range.

We recently learned that this project of ours was awarded "Best In Class" for a residential addition in its price range by the Builder's Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania . Much thanks to Doug Lodge of Lodge Slate Restoration, and George Stabile of Stabuilders for their assistance on this project, to Jed Miller of Jonathon Miller Designs and to Robert Humphreys Architect for their design contributions, to Kelly Young for help with structural engineering, and to our wonderful clients, Chris and Jack Bailey for putting their faith in us.
