So nice to sit and have a drink in my bar again tonite!

Happy Friday! Well I guess that we are kinda open again. According to allegheny county and the state as of 5 PM today we can open at 25% capacity. Unfortunately this means we can only have 12 people max in the bar at any time. We also have to close the bar by 11 PM. You must be seated at a table - there is no bar seating. There is also no smoking inside the bar. As long as you order some food we are again allowed to serve alcohol. When you come in you must wear a mask until you are seated and if you get up to go to the bathroom you must wear a mask. Whether you agree with a mask or not this is what we have to do to stay in business. No mask - No service. Lots of new rules and hopefully we are open more fully soon but for now this is what we have. Starting tomorrow we will be open from 11 AM to 11 PM daily.

Thank you again for all of your support and comments. Whether you believe in these rules or not this is what I have to do to stay in business. We have done our best to follow the new rules in our bar with barriers and social distancing. Most other bars are doing their best to follow the rules also. Every bar, business and all people should not be punished for the non-compliance of a few.

Thank you all to all of the lennys family. It was great seeing so many of you today but it was very hard to say goodbye for now. When we do open up again the first drink is on you and the second one is on me. I hope to be spending that money on you all soon! Until then stop by for some food and say hi and let me know what's new with you. I cannot say thank you enough! We will miss all of you.

Happy Tuesday! Here we go again. No alcohol consumption on site allowed after 5 PM today. Seems like we just opened up. We will continue our food sales from 3 PM to 7 PM Sunday through Thursday and 3 PM til 8 PM Friday and Saturday. You can eat here or take it home. We will also still sell 6 packs to go. We will be closed this Saturday and Sunday for the 4th of July weekend. . Hopefully this is just a short time out this time around. They should let the bars that are following the rules to stay open. Go to the bars that are not following the rules and shut them down - not us!

Happy Saturday! I have been trying to update Lennys facebook page to show our daily hours as 11 AM to 2 AM. I have changed them multiple times and it just doesn't stay changed. And as far as getting hold of facebook with this kind of problem - forget it. We are open and it was great to see many of you yesterday for the reopening. Hope to see you there later today!

Happy Monday! This Friday at 11 AM we can finally open our doors again. It has been a very long 10 weeks and we still have a few more days to go. Due to green phase and CDC guidelines some things have changed. We will only have about 50% seating capacity per the CDC guidelines. No standing in the bar is permitted at any time. With the limited seating there will be busier times that we may have to turn some people away. You can call ahead to see if we have seating but for righ...t now we will not have reserved seating. We also had to move bar stools 6 feet apart and we are adding barriers in some places so we can have a few more people at the bar. When you come in a mask will be needed. You can remove it when you are seated but you have to put it back on anytime you leave your seat. Since we cannot stand up the pool table has been removed to allow room for seating. Parties of up to 4 people may be able to sit together if they have a common relationship. These are some of the rules we have to follow for now until we get through these times. I just wanted everyone to be aware of changes that needed to be made and we look forward to seeing all of you soon. I might even buy a round of fireballs when I see ya! See more

Happy Thursday! I want to give a big thank you to all of you who have supported us during these hard times. I cannot tell you how much we appreciate your support. It is time for governor wolf to allow all businesses in Pennsylvania to re-open. The numbers are down - the majority of our issues are in the retirement homes - put all of your efforts into supporting the retirement facilities gov wolf. If you want to stay home then stay home. It is time for us to have our freedom again.

Unfortunately there are a lot of small restaurants and bars along with all of their great employees that are struggling to survive out there. Maybe our governor will allow us all to gather again soon - with some precautions - and we can celebrate! To all of the Lennys friends and their families I hope you are all doing well and are healthy. Hope to see all of you again soon!

Happy Thursday to all! I haven't done this in a while now and I should be doing it every day. That is saying thank you to everyone for your support over the last several weeks. It really means so much to us that all of you would think of Lennys in what is a difficult time for all of us. I am hoping that someday soon we will re-open. When we do open I will be buying at least a few rounds. Until then stay healthy and we'll see you soon!

Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is healthy and happy and I want to thank everyone again for their continued support. We are open tor takeout food and beer from 3 to 7 Sunday thru Thursday and from 2 to 8 Friday and Saturday. Starting today we are offering 12 oz six packs of regular beer bottles and cans for $6.00 and premium six packs including Trulys while they last for $8.00 each. The 16 oz six packs of cans will go for $7.00. If you have a growler we have Miller Lite and Budweiser on tap still we can fill a 64 oz growler for $6.00. This is all an effort to turn over inventory of these items since we still do not know how long this isolation will last. Again - I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy out there and I hope to see you all again hopefully sooner rather than later.
