At around 3:24pm today, Station 271 was dispatched for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm at the block of 2800 Sebolt Road. Firefighters arrived on scene and after thorough investigation, they had found it to be a bad 14 year old CO Detector. Home owner did not have any symptoms. *Reminder: CO detectors last between 5-7 years. After 7 years, their ability to detect carbon monoxide is questionable after that point. All 271 units returned back into service.
