Happy Thanksgiving! This is the first year that I wore stretchy sweat pants to thanksgiving dinner. I highly recommend! Thank you for all of your pie orders and for your support this year! Fall flavors alert!! Chili Chocolate is one of our favorite vegan pops made with creamy coconut milk, cayenne pepper, cinnamon, dark chocolate and cacao nibs. Chai Latte is made with Pink Kashmiri Chai from our friends @thechaibar.us and gets its creaminess from oat milk ... Pumpkin S’mores looks a little different this year! Pumpkin cream base with house made marshmallows all dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with graham crumbs! Mulled Apple Cider (vegan) is made with locally sourced apple cider and is basically fall on a stick! Some news to share - After much consideration, we have decided to not renew our lease at our Rittenhouse location. However, this isn’t goodbye, it’s just see you in West Philly! (our shop at this location will remain open). Our last day for our Rittenhouse shop will be next Sunday, September 27th. COVID amplified the challenges of this location and while we have been able to squeak by during the pandemic with the support from you, our great customers, I’m grateful that we ...have an opportunity to regroup and make our little business really flourish at our other (original) shop, located at 265 S. 44th Street. We’ve served thousands of people and made countless new friends in Rittenhouse. We’ve loved meeting you as you grabbed a quick pop or sat down for a coffee and a slice of pie. One of my favorite memories is the tiny wedding we hosted for a couple who had their first date at the shop! While we are sad, we see this as an opportunity to reimagine our business to better align with our personal goals and to put more energy into our community. Again, our West Philly shop, catering, and our wholesale operations will continue to operate! And hopefully by next spring the pandemic will be behind us and you’ll see us at our spot at the Rittenhouse Farmers’ Market and the other many great events we’ve been part of in past years! If you’re in the Rittenhouse neighborhood, but can’t make it to West Philly, you can find our pops at Di Bruno Brothers on Chestnut Street or by ordering yourself a JOY BOX, delivered right to your door! Made with organic corn grown in Lancaster County, we steep whole kernels and the cobs in milk to extract sweetness and the natural corn starches that help give this pop its creaminess.

If you like eating your berries with ice cream (and who doesn’t?) this one’s for you. This seasonal fave is available now for a limited time in our shops!

Introducing the latest addition to our late summer menu, Cantaloupe Rose! We don't think ripe, peak season cantaloupe needs a whole lot of embellishment, so we keep it subtle with the delicate taste of rosewater. Texture is just as important as flavor for us, which is why use blended fresh melon to make them smooth and full-bodied, not icy or watery!

Psst hey...need a quick pick-me-up?? We've got these Basil Limeade pops ready and waitin' for ya! They're made with Noble Farm's fresh and fragrant organic basil steeped in zingy limeade with just the right amount of sweetness. The perfect antidote to thick summer heat and/or gloomy thunderstorms, they're the pops we're reaching for when we need refreshment and we need it now!

Ok so it hasn’t been the most typical summer, but at least there’s still watermelon on a hot day. We took that classic formula, added lemonade and froze it for our Watermelon Lemonade pops, a.k.a. the ultimate in summer refreshment. They’re made with local Sugar Baby watermelons and are available now in our shops for a limited time!

As you may remember back in the Fall we joined forces with Lil' Pop Shop in Rittenhouse. We were excited to begin pie season a la mode with scoops of ice cream ...to pair with their pies. They also became a destination to find our pints and ice cream sandwiches in Center City! Since May we have been carrying their incredible pops at our scoop shop, and we couldn’t be happier. They have been such a lovely addition to our Summer menu to help you cool off. Jeanne Chang, the creative mind behind Lil’ Pop Shop, started making popsicles for her family as an ode to her favorite treat. She grew up in California where they are abundant. One of her earliest memories were neon banana popsicles at school during snack time. She’s come a far way from 80’s and 90’s favorites like purple flavor or rootbeer, now creating new flavors based on the season. Much like ourselves, she and her team source local ingredients like seasonal fruit and dairy. Jeanne is super excited for peach, melon, & corn season, so stay tuned for those flavors to POP up in our shop this August! Lil’ Pop Shop is also one of our team members for Joy Box, which is LIVE and taking orders for next week. Our guest vendor is Mighty Bread, Co, who are offering some tasty sweet and savory treats this week.
