Limeport Stadium 12.12.2020

The Bulls win Tues. night, 5 to 3, over the Creekers in a game under the lights at Limeport Stadium! It was a well played game by both teams, the Bulls needing ...the win to force a fifth and final game in the series at Pacchioli Field, Thurs. (8/10) at 5:45pm! The winning pitchers (and recipients of the "Hot Hands of the Game" awards) were Mike Kammerer (#8), and Nick Bowen (#15). CJ Saliby (#19) and Matt Dobeck (#6) had some key hits in the game were also recipients of the "Hot Hands of the Game" awards. Special thanks to the grounds crew in prepping the field after our recent monsoon, the Limeys prevailed once again! Hats off to the Bulls! Good luck in game #5! p.s. We had a good crowd! Tip of the hat to all the fans there tonight - I think everyone in attendance joined in the singing of the national anthem, very humbling - very moving, thank you all!

The question sometimes comes up as to how many grand slams have I had the opportunity to call at Limeport Stadium for the teams I've announced for over my sixte...en years there, the answer is one! With Limeport's outfields being so deep (485' to center), 8' fence and the elevation rise in the outfield - it is hard to hit homers there. Said grand slam was hit by Alex Jarossy (#13), second baseman for the Bulls on June 13, 2012, when the Bulls played the Cetronia Longhorns! (Tri-County era). Here is a photo of Alex signing said ball after a couple kids retrieved it from the cornfield! Special shout out and thank you to Alex! See more
