The New Bethlehem Fire Company would like to give a very big Thank You to LimbX Tree LLC. They offered to help open the road when a tree came down and blocked R...t 66 Friday afternoon. This allowed us to open the road earlier then normal. We appreciate [email protected] at 814-319-3913 for your generous offer to give a hand. See more

A friendly reminder to use caution on roads that seem fine - The term "black ice" is often incorrectly used to describe any type of ice that forms on roads. Black ice is formed on relatively dry roads, rendering it invisible to drivers. It can occur on all kinds of pavements. Water very slightly below the top of the surface freezes. The surface appears dry. That water freezes and expands; drivers then find they are riding above the road surface on a honeycombed invisible sheet of ice.

Hunter safety: Identify your legal target never shoot between you and someone else.. Wear appropriate material for current weather and make it orange. Someone should know where you are hunting and when you plan to be home. Take basic survival items. Treat your guns as if they are loaded, double check, point downwards and finger off the trigger. Use caution when climbing. Good luck, the deer you shoot keeps 580 from a deervs vehicle 911 call. www.pgc.pa.gov.
