Around here we truly believe that everything happens for a reason and even more so, every test and trial is not only a lesson, but also an opening to redirection of some sort. Covid-19 has put so many of us in spaces we would have never imagined we'd be in...but we're here now!... Limitless Performing Arts was founded on the principal of bringing quality dance education and instruction to the lives of children and youth from all ethnicities, socioeconomic backgrounds, and ability/mobility levels. Yesterday, our Founder Ms. Staci was having a conversation with another Parent and she stated "I'm scared" with a few moments of silence followed. The person on the other end inquired what she was scared about... Ms. Staci replied "I'm scared for my daughter and for the countless daughters I know and don't know." Now, if you know Ms. Staci, there are very few things in life that she is actually fearful of, but the sheer insanity that a woman could be shot and killed whi...le sleeping in the "comfort" of her own home is unsettling to say the least. We all have a right to be fearful and unnerved, but don't allow that to hinder you from having the necessary conversations with your children about race, race relations, and politics. Don't allow that to hinder you from standing up for yourself, your beliefs, and your core values. Don't allow that fear to keep you stagnant in places and spaces that don't have your well-being as a human at the forefront. Something has to break - but trust me, it won't be you and I! It will be this system; these ideologies; everything that was designed to keep us down. Let's Go! See more

Coming on the heels of news that a former LPA Student lost his life senselessly; another unarmed black Man was shot by police; Protestors were killed for no other reason than pure hate and ability; and the homeless populations across the country surges, our Directors Ms. Staci and Ms. Doni are heavy-hearted today... How do we ensure that when students leave our premises they are constantly reminded that they are magnificent, worthy, and were created with intent? How do ...we ensure that the life skills and countless conversations we have about the real world, do not fall on deaf ears? How do we ensure that our students, whether they graduate from our program or not, move through life holding tight to our Founding Principles: Participation (Showing Up), Personal Development (Always learning and Growing), and Performance (Giving 110% each and every day)? We understand the idiom "It starts at Home", but we also understand our mission to be a pillar of light for every student that comes through our door.
