Friends of Linwood Park

Have you noticed the new rock steps in the park? The rocks were salvaged from a house in Gladwyne that was being demolished. Huge thanks to neighbor Brendan Kneafsey and his company BJK Masonry & Restoration LLC for their technical assistance with the design and the muscle to install the rocks. Brendan lives nearby and loves the park. He donated his time and services for this project and we are so incredibly thankful! Stop by and check them out!

In case you’re wondering what’s going on with all the orange cones, the Friends are in the process of building a rock path through the mound behind the bistro chair nook. It should be done soon!

We will be having a workday in the park tomorrow morning from 9-12. We have bulbs to plant, beds to edge and mulch to spread. All are welcome to come help out and no experience is necessary. Please bring your own gloves if possible, we will supply the tools. Social distancing will be observed. Thanks for helping the park!

Just a reminder that tomorrow there will be Yoga with Nichole at 10am and Dance with Gail at 2pm. Both classes are donation based benefitting Neighbors Helping Neighbors on the Main Line.
