Reflecting on my day. Here's a glimpse into why I LOVE this work. It's about the connections and meaningful conversations. I spoke to one woman who has two grown sons on the Autism Spectrum She told me a bit about her life growing and learning on this journey. She chose three tokens - birthdates, ADVOCATE and PROVERBS 31:8. (Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.) I spoke with another woman who recently lost her father. ...She chose matching bracelets for her and her sister with his birth year - 2021 and POP, as he was called. I met an industrious girl of 12, who had her own table selling handmade soaps and more. She recently hatched her first flock (?) of chickens and chose a necklace I MY CHICKENS. All meaningful connections. I am honored when folx choose to share their story with me and stamp each piece with love and INTENTION.
