Please call the Senators on this list and read the script to their office. HB777 is on the floor this afternoon with NO plans to add the amendment we need. The senate closes Nov 30 and does not open up until AFTER the new year. Mainly Corman and Costa. Please Hurry!!!!! Dear Sir or Madam, I am calling your office to voice my concern regarding the difficulties non-profit, small games of chance licensees, are facing during the current Covid-19 Pandemic. I wanted to let you know that I would like you to support either placing the verbiage as written from House Bill (HB) 2764 as an amendment to House Bill (HB) 777 for passage, or placing that verbiage into the current fiscal package for passage to allow for online raffles and the ability for these licensed organizations to accept electronic payment using credit and debit cards. These non-partisan changes will allow civic, veteran, and educational organizations holding small games of chance licenses to fundraise through this pandemic and continue their good works for our communities and the Commonwealth as a whole. We'd like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to everyone who was involved with making this year's event a success! We scaled it back a bit with the Covid problem but still ran a very fun event! We're proud to announce that other than a few minor incidents in the parking lot, our medical staff responded to zero emergencies out on the trail! Thank you all for being super safe. What a beautiful day for an event at Famous Reading Outdoors! With 27 miles of trail and a 35 acre parking lot, this is the definition of a socially distant event.

To the assholes who feel the need to destroy the hard work of our volunteers: you are why there aren't more events like this. There's nothing like going out at 6am and re-doing everything we've done because you think you're cool. To those who don't engage in pettiness and are annoyed by this: please discourage this behavior by any means necessary. Remember folks: trail opens at 8am. Helmets are required and alcohol is prohibited. Keep track of your mile markers in case of emergencies. Most importantly, have fun!!
