THREE WORKING FIRES IN THREE HOURS It was one busy night for the members of The Lloydsville VFD! Starting the early morning string of fires was a residential fire within the City of Greensburg in which Rescue 114 was requested to assist with RIT operations. Just prior to clearing the City of Greensburg job, a report of another residential fire within Derry Township was dispatched. While the rescue crew remained in Greensburg, Tanker 114 took in the fire on Pizza Barn Road.... Only a short time into operating at the working fire on Pizza Barn Road, a SECOND residential fire was reported, also within Derry Township, on Flowers Road off Rt. 981. The rescue crew from Greensburg was already back in station for this fire and then proceeded to move Engine 114. All in all, crews from our department and all over the county made great and efficient work at all three of these incidents! All incidents included a heavy fire load which made suppression and overhaul rather timely even with numerous other incidents simultaneously working.
