Today is the last day for the ice cream freezer! It's a good day to take some home! Buy a cone or a dish and get a second one of the same size ( can be a different flavor) free!! I will not have ice cream after today until after Christmas!! Stock up!!

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for all of You! You supported me all the months when I had to serve through my front window! You supported me with the fundraiser for the Libraries! You supported me with offers of help during my recent water pipe leak! Even if I didn't take you up on your offer; know how much it means to me! I closed suddenly at 3:00 pm on Saturday because I was a participant in the gold ticket scavenger hunt. I got my riddle and my husband and I headed to Dushore ,Pa. ( Up North!) Searched the area for 2 hrs. in the dark with no luck! Got another set of clues yesterday and headed to Hershey, no luck again but visited Chocolate world! I was totally off with my travels and the ticket was in Bath, Pa; but it was a fun weekend hunting for a$5,000.00 gold ticket! I do want to apologize for closing early on Saturday!

Officially I will be opening Wednesday November 4 the at 11:00. I have a couple of last minute things on Tuesday. *Please remember that masks Must be worn to come inside *I have to limit the number of people who can be in due to the size of the shop. *1 family or group at a time * I cannot have anyone sitting inside to eat ice cream at this time; I will have one chair in case someone needs to sit due to mobility issue.... *If you are unable to wear a mask; you will have to call in your order and we will schedule a time for me to bring it out to you. *My top priority is to maintain a safe environment for everyone! The contractors are finished and I have most of my stuff out of the pod! Trying to organize everything! Not sure how it all came out of my building! Haha It's a good time to purge! My plan is to open next Tuesday, November 3 I just can't get open before Halloween and I apologize for that! Looking forward to making Thanksgiving and Christmas candy! THANK YOU!!! For all the prayers, thoughts of concern and offers of help! I am truly blessed! As bad as it looked last week and still does; it could have been a lot worse! It's been a busy week and most of the candy has been inventoried and discarded! A huge Thank you to Randy ( a loyal customer) and Tim co-owner of LJ' s fitness; they worked up a sweat yesterday moving my tables and racks to the pod! Last week I was excited to get the shop ready for you to come inside; today I am sad to announce that I will be closed completely until further notice! The building sustained a major water pipe leak and did some major damage to the 1 st floor! It was a hot water pipe so the entire 1 st floor became a " sauna" and all the candy and ingredients, etc have to be discarded! I will begin the tedious job of inventory of all I discard to determine my loss. The floors also have to be replaced. I will post the progress.

The contractors were busy this week! They are doing an awesome job and I am thankful that they could fit me in!! I did realize yesterday that my phone is not working at the shop, we were unable to figure out the problem so I apologize for that! I will start ordering all the replacement candy this week but I can't start making candy until the repairs are completed ( hopefully the end of this week)! I'm going to open the shop for you to come in, starting Tuesday October 6 th! ** I will be closed to get ready: Sunday September 27 th - Monday October 5th ** That means that the window service will end ** There will be some guidelines to follow and they will be posted here and at the shop probably next week. I have 2 lines: 1 for only ice cream cake: step inside the door. Window is for candy, ice cream, milkshake, etc. But can be used for ice cream cake as well. It's a beautiful day! ...
