LOTUS is, and has been, following the guidelines of The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse during the pandemic of COVID-19. We are compliant both in services being offered in the office and through Telehealth. Our clinicians are trained in providing Telehealth and are currently offering Telehealth to clients in individual therapy. There are times that Telehealth may not be appropriate for an individual, this could be due t...o a variety of reasons, including but not limited to the client’s ability to have a safe and private space to participate in Teleheath. LOTUS is dedicated to providing the best service to our clients during this trying time. We do also offer group services to clients adjudicated through the court and are again acting in accordance with state and federal governing bodies, as well as, following court orders in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties. What a great month of art making at LOTUS! Here are some of the completed artworks from the Introduction to Art Therapy Printmaking Workshop. We would like to thank all our new friends who made these workshops a really fun experience for everyone. A new process and community workshop in Mindful-artmaking at LOTUS will begin the 2nd weekend of March. Please stay tuned to our Facebook for updates. Wow! Another great weekend group. Many return friends and some new folks too! Here are some of the highlights of the group. FYI this coming weekend will be the LAST Lino-Block Printing group.
