I want to thank those that was so kind to try and help me get the equipment out of the store. Turns out I didn’t need to move any of it. I was able to sell both pieces. What a relief!! Looking at places in/near Uniontown and won’t stop until we find what we need.

Most of you know, but for those who don’t, we are no longer operating the convenience store. We had to make this very hard decision this past month when we realized the promises being made to us regarding the kitchen were not going to be kept. With the Dollar General Store opening practically next to us, we felt the only way to financially make it was if our kitchen would be completed as promised. We recently found our landlord had different plans. Things I (Kim) want to say...... When I first looked at this location I seen so much potential. (There still is, but God must have different plans for us) I was told don’t go there, it’s such a bad area. Something bad will surely happen to you You are bound to get robbed, maybe even shot Those statements were SO not true! I have met some of the BEST people on earth at this location. I have had so many of you offer your help if you saw me struggling with lifting things, just come to say hi to me and check in, tell me you have my back if I ever needed anything. I’m not going to lie, I had a total of two problems, (Nothing too scarey) but I know several of you took care of it, and watched out for me. I’m going to miss each and every one of you and the little ones who would just pop in to hug me. For the customers who knew me and my husband before we moved to this location and still followed us (and those that even come to Connellsville ), we thank you for your ongoing support!! As I sit here with so many emotions, I realize how truly blessed we really are. We have met some amazing people and have wonderful memories. Pizza Louie’s will be back in Uniontown!! We are looking for the perfect building, or who knows, we may build our own. This page will stay active, and I will update it when we get another location. For now we will be in Connellsville. Most of you who didn’t know him before coming to the store, got to in a way because he made sure to come visit me every day with his precious grandson. Update: With all of your overwhelming support for Steve, we have decided to start selling hoagies from our store on Monday, April 8th. You can come in from open to close and show your support. We will do this for at least two weeks. If it keeps going, we will do it the entire month of April. For those who are selling hoagies, you can pick up order forms or I can email them to you. We will designate days that are most convenient for you. As far as L.H,I will drop off order for...ms Tuesday, April 2. We will then determine what days will be best for you. Steve is very much appreciative for each and every one of you Pizza Louie and I (his wife, Kim) have decided to do a fundraiser for someone who many of you know. Laurel Highlands High School Security Guard, Steve Dillard. He recently suffered a rare condition called Aortic dissection. It is a tear in the inner layer of a large blood vessel branching off the heart. He is still on this earth by the grace of God As you can imagine, it’s going to take time for him to heal and be 100% It’s on our hearts to do what we can to help him out financially, for he has small children to provide for. We are going to do a Hoagie sell and profits will be donated to Steve. If you are interested in helping sell, stop by the store to pickup an order form.
