What a wonderful first week back at the shop!!Thank you to the majority who were so diligent about the new shop rules and safety measures. A special thank you for the patience of those who came out the first few days, I know they were a little rough around the edges until we got the new routine down. A very big thank you to my husband for all his help with set up for our reopening. On to a busy new week..

COVID-19 Update - May 26, 2020 "When this the shop opening?" I want to again thank my clients for your thoughtful concern over the past few months! You guys have been wonderful!... I've been receiving a lot more calls in the last few days about when the shop will open since we will be entering yellow phase on June 5th. The shop is in Northampton County and barber shops in Pennsylvania will not be allowed open until the Green phase. Once I have a firm reopening date, I will contact those who's appointments from March - June we're canceled and those who called during the closure, they will have first refusal on appointments. Then I will be taking new appointments. In the mean time I've been hard at work making sure the shop is ready for when we can open. Stay safe and hopefully see you soon!

COVID-19 UPDATE 3/30/2020 The shop will remain closed for the foreseeable future until we have clearance from the governor to reopen nonessential businesses. I wanted to thank my customers from the bottom of my heart for your extraordinary kindness during this difficult time. A big thank you to the customers who have called just to check in, those who called to chat during their regularly scheduled appointments and those who bought gift cards for their future appointments. ... Please stay safe and healthy.

COVID-19 UPDATE To my clients, My top priority has always been your health and well-being, as well as that of your families and our community. ... As a small business I’ve made the extremely difficult decision to close the shop for the next 2 weeks as per the strong government recommendation for the closure of all nonessential businesses in Pennsylvania. I want to give our hard working nurses, doctors and the most vulnerable members of our community their best fighting chance. If you have an appointment scheduled from tomorrow through March 31st, I will be contacting you directly as soon as I can today. Any other updates will be through the shop’s social media pages. Loukas’ Barber Shop was opened with the main goal of providing services to the local community and now is not the time for that to stop. If you fall into a high risk group and need assistance, I am more than happy to provide free delivery of groceries or food. Do not hesitate to reach out to me.
