Congratulations to Henry and Garrett Garlits as they both took home 1st place at the Council Rock Indian Open this past weekend. Henry was the QB for our 12u tackle team and Garrett participates in our Flag program. Coach Trimble from 9u is actively recruiting him to try tackle after seeing this. Congrats boys keep it up. Our 13u NESAC All-stars really showed out Friday night unfortunately they lost in OT 18-12. But our LMFA Falcons really shined on the defensive side of the ball. Connor O’Brien and Chase Walters accounted for 4 sacks and numerous tackles throughout the night. Sean Shuster and Furio Fusco both chipped in 4 tackles each. Abu Fofana hauled in a 40yd pass to help set up the Team White’s 1st TD. Michael Pacitti from the QB spot completed 4-5 for 50yds while adding 30 yds on the ground. Pacitti’s longest rush of 12yds he followed fellow Falcon Brandon Trimble who pulled around end and steamrolled 3 defenders. Trimble and Pacitti both added 3 tackles each and Pacitti had a couple pass break ups. Great work gentlemen and good luck at the next level.

Hi Football Parents: We’d like to take a moment to congratulate one of our LMFA 12U Flag All-star teams for winning the NFL FLAG Regional Tournament on Saturday in Conshohocken. The tournament, which is 1 of 12 regional tournaments in the country, featured teams from VA, NY, NJ and PA. They fought through cold and windy weather to get to the championship game, where they won with a last minute touchdown! The boys are now headed to the national tournament at the NFL PRO BOW...L in Las Vegas NV, representing the Philadelphia Eagles. At the tournament they will compete with the other 11 regional champions, with the winners being crowned National champs! Good luck boys!!! If you see any of these players around, please take a moment to congratulate them on this HUGE accomplishment. This is the 1st time LMFA Flag will be represented at the National level. For all those interested in spring flag football. We are in the process of securing the fields with the township. We expect registration to open in early March with the season running from late March into early June. More Details to follow by the end of February. Happy New Year to all of you!

Lower Makefield Football Association Families: Please read the information below about Morrisville Little League. If you want to help out please sign their petition to save their fields. Thank you ... In early December the Morrisville Borough Council will vote on a proposal to develop Williamson Park. The current plan is to demolish 7 of 8 baseball, softball and tee-ball fields and dramatically reduce open space in favor of three 5+ story concrete studio apartment buildings, retail stores and asphalt parking lots. If approved as described, this development will result in the death of Morrisville Little League and the proud community which generations of local families have worked tirelessly to create and enjoy over the past 70 years. This will NOT impact the 2021 season, however we must act quickly to preserve our future. We have two requests: 1) Go to www.SaveMLL.org and sign the petition opposing the current plan ASAP. 2) Forward this message to friends, former players & families, especially current residents of Morrisville Borough. This is not the Thanksgiving message we hoped to share, but in the spirit of the season we remain ever grateful to our community who helped build and sustain Morrisville Little League. Hi Flag Parents: We just wanted to reach out and thank everyone for a great 1st session. It was incredible to see the kids out there playing and having such a good time and a sense of normalcy. Thank you so much for adhering to the ‘new’ rules. Just wanted to send out a couple of quick reminders: It is required that your complete the Health Check in the Team Snap app prior to every practice and game. If not completed your child cannot participate that day... If you are not sitting at your car it is required that you wear a mask (unless eating or drinking) Please continue to stay in the end zones to watch the games with only 1 spectator per player Please no parking on the grass Thanks again and looking forward to getting the remainder of the season in with everyone’s help. --LMFA Board

Thanks again for having the Speed Pursuit Team over to work with LMFA athletes last Saturday. Everyone appeared happy and it was a great time! Attached is my LMFA Special Discount Pricing for Speed Pursuit training at our Tullytown facility. This applies to all the athletes that are registered to play Flag or Tackle football with LMFA. Very nice turnout for our Annual Camp. This year we only had one date scheduled due to the current craziness but we managed.... Big thanks to Tony Incollingo and his Staff at Speed Pursuit for being the professionals they are and running another great camp 2 years in a row. We still have tackle spots available as we gear up for another season of tackle football with multiple teams. The Pennsbury school board just approved the plan for fall varsity sports. The plan does not include jv, freshman or middle school football at this time. The next phase of the varsity plan will be voted on in mid August and there are no guarantees any squads other than varsity will actually play. Any athletes looking to play tackle football this year, ages 14 and under should visit our website and sign up to play on one of our teams in the nesac group.
