It was exactly one year ago today when we got word of the shutdown order. I remember having the difficult conversation with the crew about the closure. Never in my 13 years of barbering, and 9 years of owning the shop, did we ever have to close our doors for any reason. I guess we’ve been fortunate that way. You can imagine the sinking feeling in my stomach now having to do so. And then everything crumbled! Two weeks turned into nearly four months... with each date consumed b...y worry on top of worry. I’ve watched my savings deplete while paying the bills and keeping the shop running... all while trying to figure out safe and practical solutions to reopen... whenever that was to be. Health and safety was always a priority for me, but the thought of losing everything we’ve worked so hard to build was most terrifying of all. Since then, we’ve had the good fortune of being able to reopen safely and without incident. We had to completely reconfigure how we do business, and to say that was challenging is an understatement. But, it was also an opportunity to enhance the experience... streamline things... and just make it better. It is not by chance that we are able to keep our doors opened. Continue to provide the best possible service in the cleanest, safest environment... and just a little bit of luck... ! One thing that is evident is this: we are nothing without our loyal customers. We cant even begin to thank you enough for trusting us! Not just with your hair, but now with your health! I can’t tell you how humbled we are by this! From the bottom of our hearts... THANK YOU! Hey guys.. so just a couple things. First of all... we are so thankful that we still get to operate. We feel for our brothers and sisters in the service industry who are hurting, and you have our word that we will be there to support you in any way we can. With that said... although we can still operate, we can do so only under strict guidelines. One of those guidelines states that we cannot service anyone with a temperature check of 100 or higher. Today we’ve had to turn awa...y 2 clients because of this. We hope that this was just a fluke and not indicative of something greater. We value our guests and their safety, and we will always do whats right to ensure that we operate in the safest possible environment.
