We have installed one of TACTIC’s new automated Identification Marking Systems for tube, pipe, and bar in our Ultrasonic Testing Department. The system is designed with ink jet printer technology and material handling equipment for fast, high-volume marking. While materials are at LTI for testing, we can easily and legibly print necessary identification required by standards such as MIL-T-16420K and AMS-STD-185 or other customer-desired information. https://bit.ly/3bwkwmF #IdentificationMarking #MarkingSystems #UltrasonicTesting

LTI recently acquired its first heavy-duty TACTIC ultrasonic inspection system. This system complements the eight standard-duty systems already in operation in our NDT Center of Excellence. This new system not only expands our capacity, it also allows LTI to test larger and heavier tube and bar up to 8 and 6, respectively. Aaron Weinstein has joined the sales team at LTI as a Technical Sales Engineer. Aaron will assist in the development of quoting and complex testing projects. He also will be a technical point of contact for customers and a technical resource for LTI’s sales and customer service team. Before joining LTI, Aaron worked for Arconic as a Product Metallurgical Engineer, and earlier as an intern. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Lehigh University, and a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. #SalesEngineer #MaterialsScience #engineering

Although gathering all employees together for an annual holiday luncheon was not an option this year, LTI remains committed to celebrating the holidays and the accomplishments of the past year with our employees.
