The Hive Mind, a play on the Bee’s Knees using Benedictine instead of honey. Lucky Sign London Dry Gin 2 oz, Benedictine 1 oz, Cocchi Amercano 1 oz and Linnie Aquavit 0.5 oz finished with orange bitters. This is a treat to say the least, and is as good on a crisp winter day as a summer evening. Bitters can be swapped out to act as a modifier, or dropped all together. I find myself mixing gin and aquavit a lot more lately, which has me really thinking about starting a passion ...project for aquavit. Four new products coming soon! Barrel Aged Gin, Raki (an anise flavored spirit), Spiced Orange Bitters and Citrus Amaro. All are available for sampling now. Most will be ready in the next few weeks, the Amaro will be a bit longer.
