Good Morning, Me and Several Retailers are participating in a ongoing fundraiser for Kevin, until 29 Nov! Below is just a part of his story on how Kevin fought his battle with MECP2. Any support you can give is deeply appreciated! Kevin was such a warrior! When he was diagnosed with MECP2 the doctors said he wouldn’t be able to walk or talk but boy did he prove them wrong! He was able to walk and talk. He loved running around his classroom and stealing his friends and teacher...s food. After several years of being able to do these things his MECP2 became more aggressive and Kevin became wheelchair bound and had to be fed through a feeding tube. As Kevin’s health began to deteriorate his mother, Nancy was by his side every step of the way. She remained positive and gave Kevin all the love he needed.
