We are rapidly approaching the "giving" time of year and what better way to give - during The ExtraOrdinary Give? Join us for a festive evening of socializing and learning about LUMINA and what our future entails on November 18th at First United Methodist Church from 6-8pm. We will be having a light meal accommodated with desserts and have many donation stations set up. Please share this post and invite your friends and family to join us.

This Saturday, September 24th from 8am until 10am LUMINA's Professional Clothing Bank will be having their semi-annual clearance sale. For just $5 you can fill a bag with Women's and/or Men's clothing and accessories. We are located in Otterbein United Methodist Church at 20 East Clay Street, go to the parking lot located at rear of the church, into the red door (up the ramp).

New things are happening at LUMINA... Stay tuned. Starting this Thursday Kids Night will begin for this new school year at Otterbein UMC and next Monday it will be starting at New Creation UMC. Our Professional Clothing Bank Summer Clearance Sale will be September 24th from 8am-10am. Stuff a bag with Women's clothing and accessories for only $5. ... Community Day Camp starts in a little over a week and we are still needing some volunteers. Please contact our office at 394-8412 if you are able to help the week of July 25-29th. We have a wonderful Field Trip scheduled for that Wednesday.

Summer time is here and Gretna Glen Camp is right around the corner. We are in need of sponsors for our Camper Care Ministry. LUMINA will be sending 31 children to Gretna Glen camp starting in July. The sponsors will donate $100 towards camp equipment for their camper and will write letters to their camper each day of their camping experience. If you are interested, please call us at 394-8412.

The staff and Board of Directors of LUMINA are very sad to see the passing of Richard Beittel, Jr. He was a true friend of LUMINA ministries. Our deepest condolences to his wife Julie and the rest of the family.

A very warm thank you to everyone that joined us this evening at our "Night of Light". We had a wonderful turnout and the silent auction was a great success!

We will be featuring an exceptional meal prepared by the gentlemen from Columbia UMC, a jazz/gospel concert featuring Robin Work and friends, and a silent auction. All money raised will fund LUMINA’s work with struggling families in Lancaster County. Purchase tickets at the door for only $25, students $10, children 12 and under are free.
